If you had to describe your job to a 3rd grader, how would you describe it and why is it important?
I’m a professional nerd and the code I write helps with providing medical care to people around the country, usually those least able to afford the care.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Writing code and working with my team. As cheesy as it sounds, I’ve got a great team to work with.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Mostly, hanging out with my family. If that involves driving, even better. I also like museums, cars, motorcycling, music; music, car, and motorcycle museums; reading, bicycling and playing video games with family are all up there on the list as well.
Which animal best represents your personality?
I know the violently American answer is something like a lion, eagle, tiger, or wolf. But my personality is probably somewhere between a Capybara and a Quokka.
What's your dream car and why?
If I had to choose only one? Hmmm… An “Authorized Vehicle”. They get to go anywhere, and they have the best parking!
What's your favorite snack at the office?
Utz Cheese Balls. They’re gluten-free and made from real cheese. That makes them healthy, right? And I don’t have to worry about that odd smell from the microwave when I time the popcorn wrong.
If you could have any one superpower, what would it be?
Healing factor/Hyper-Regenerative Ability/Accelerated healing. This would go well with my propensity to get weird injuries.
If you could have lunch with any famous person, who would it be?
I’d rather have lunch with friends, y’know?
What is your favorite book and why?
Any of the books in the increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhiker’s Guide trilogy. I appreciate the way Douglas Adams takes a different look at things.
