* If you had to describe your job to a 3rd grader, how would you describe it and why is it important? I work with the bosses and important people at our clients to make sure they are happy, so that they want to keep buying what we sell. I’m just one piece of a very good team keeping clients happy
* What is your favorite part of your job? Establishing interpersonal relationships with my team and our clients, since the people are what is really important
* What do you like to do in your free time? Buy, drive, and inevitably fix old German cars. I also like to be outside and keep things simple
* Which animal best represents your personality? I align with my beagle mix – loyal to a fault, forgiving, but not the best listener – especially when I’m focused on something
* Do you have a life theme song? Why or why not? And if so, what is it? I don’t. Despite having strong music tastes, playing in a band before etc, I truly value silence sometimes
* What's your dream car and why? The McLaren F1 – because it represents total focus on a singular mission, unencumbered by financial or other typical compromises
* What's your favorite snack at the office? Spicy tortilla chips are tough to put down
* If you could have any one superpower, what would it be? I don’t want to get ahead of myself – so superhuman strength would be fun but not too destructive
* If you could have lunch with any famous person, who would it be? I’d like to sit down to eat and drink period-appropriate vittles with Plato
* What is your favorite book and why? I’m an avid fiction reader, so that is an impossible question. Lately, I’m rereading “Kafka on the Shore” by Murakami because it was so fantastical, deep, and enjoyable
