If you had to describe your job to a 3rd grader, how would you describe it and why is it important?
I work to create tools that help healthcare providers better track and care for their patients. We do this buy keeping all the information together and making it easier to find and work with. This is important to helping more people get the help they need faster.
* What is your favorite part of your job?
Two things, first I get to pitch ideas about how to move the product forward from a technical standpoint and second getting to work with others to bring ideas to life.
* What do you like to do in your free time?
A lot of video games really, but also, I read books, kayak the local rivers, hike and camp (the advantages of life in the PNW)
* Which animal best represents your personality?
An otter
* Do you have a life theme song? Why or why not? And if so, what is it?
I do not, who I am has changed over time to much to be encapsulated by a song.
* What's your dream car and why?
I dream of not having or needing a car.
* What's your favorite snack at the office?
Beef jerky, but really slim jims when available.
* If you could have any one superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation, while the journey might be the most important part its really the most fun.
* If you could have lunch with any famous person, who would it be?
Oscar Wilde
* What is your favorite book and why?
Who has just one favorite book? If pressed and I was in a hoity toity mood I would say a Tale of Two Cities
